Adriatic-Ionian Corridor (AIC) or the “Blue Corridor” is a future motorway that will connect Italy in the north with Greece in the south, through Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania.
Our project concerned the AIC section between Murriqan/Sukobin and Lezhë (Balldren) in Albania and was part of IPF10 Technical Assistance in the Western Balkans. Our team of experts prepared the technical documentation (ESIA and Preliminary Design) for this motorway section, in compliance with the Albanian national legislation, the EU standards and the EBRD’s requirements.
