The potential of current regional policy instruments 2007-2013, to contribute to the Lisbon and Gotenborg objectives for growth, jobs and sustainable development

We contributed in the evaluation of the potential of current regional policy instruments to contribute to the Lisbon and Gothenburg objectives for growth, jobs and sustainable development.

The main objective of the study was to carry out an evaluation of the potential of current regional policy instruments to contribute to the Lisbon and Gothenburg objectives for growth, jobs and sustainable development. Within this framework, we were responsible for the respective evaluation work in Greece and Cyprus. More specifically, we elaborated a detailed analysis of the National Strategic Reference Framework in Greece and Cyprus and we provided an assessment of ex-ante evaluations in Greece and Cyprus in relation to the Lisbon and Gothenburg objectives. Finally, we elaborated a structured analysis of the Operational Programmes, including indicators and targets, for the two countries. Based on all the above, a series of best practices in Greece and Cyprus was identified.
