EXTR@Web - EXploitation of TRansport Research Results via the Web

The aim of EXTR@WEB was to support the research and policy-making process within the EU by providing timely and easy access to research projects information, targets, latest results and their implications.

EXTR@WEB (EXploitation of TRansport Research via the Web) was a four-year project funded by the European Commission under the Fifth RTD Framework. The aim of the project was to support the research and policy-making process within the EU by providing timely and easy access to research projects information, targets, latest results and their implications. EXTR@Web collected, structured, analyzed and disseminated transport research results, regarding programmes and projects funded both by the European Commission and by national resources within the European Research Area (ERA), covering 30 European countries in total.

Within the above framework, a Knowledge Centre was developed which provided and promoted, via an electronic hub, access to detailed summary information on transport research programmes and their results across Europe, interconnection among European and national programmes into an easily navigable European network and high-quality analytical outputs. Our Company was responsible for collecting, analyzing and promoting via the developed website, all transport research projects at national level for the period 1998-2002, with regards to Greece.
