The Hellenic Ministry of Transport and Communications was looking to develop the new legal framework for the creation and operation of freight centers across Greece. In the framework of the project, we worked closely with the Ministry in order to achieve the expected results in a timely and efficient manner.

The main objective of this project was to offer technical assistance to the Ministry of Transport and Communications for preparing the new legal framework for the creation and operation of freight centers in Greece. More specifically, we were responsible for preparing a technical report (proposal) on the legal framework for freight centers, including the terms and conditions for the creation, location and operation of the centers, regardless their potential funding from public bodies.

Furthermore, within the framework of this project, we analysed all articles of the proposed Law regarding freight villages in Greece, in order to ensure its harmonization with the Greek legal framework and the EU Directives. It is noted that our analysis was based on relevant studies and projects, as well as on international bibliography.
