After completion, Tirana bypass will provide a motorway link between the existing highway Tirana – Durres and the new motorway Tirana – Elbasan (under construction), running along the western, southern and south-eastern sides of the city. The total length of the bypass alignment is 21,5 Km, dual carriageway.
The technical documents which were prepared consisted of the Detailed Design of the alignment, interchanges and structures, the finalization of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), preparation of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP), the Resettlement Action Plan and preparation of Procurement Plan and Tender Documents.
Systema’s responsibility was the Project Management and the delivery of Detailed Design and Tender Documents.
