A new interesting contract has just been awarded to SYSTEMA. We are a member of a consortium, which will implement the project for the Metro development in Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece.
The purpose of this study is to formulate a comprehensive Metro Network Development Plan, in the framework of an updated Transport Master Plan for the city, until 2040. It will include the mapping and evaluation of the current situation through extensive traffic counts and transport market research, the development of a multimodal transport model and the formulation and evaluation of alternative scenarios of transportation networks in order to select the optimal one.
